Maxime gave an oral presentation entitled "Towards bottom-up design of porous electrode microstructures - coupling evolutionary algorithms and pore network modelling". Dr. Kiran Bhatia joins our team as postdoctoral researcher! Kiran is an expert on the synthesis and characterization of novel monometallic/ binary metal foam catalysts by means of electrodeposition, which is pertinent to that of power to value concept such as for electrochemical CO2 reduction. She recently obtained her PhD thesis at the University of Bern, Switzerland. At TU/e, her work will focus on developing novel catalyst architectures on 3d printed electrodes in reversible alkaline fuel cells (RAFC) for space applications. Welcome on board!

In this exciting research program (FAIR-RFB), we will push the boundaries of fundamental science to develop new battery materials and enable new reactor architectures for low cost energy storage.
